Seeking musicians for a cabaret act.

I'm the singer and have a number of songs already... originals (my own, with music) as well as standards. A restaurant/jazz club owner in the NW suburbs heard/saw me play, commented on the 'cabaret-esqe-ness' of my music/style and planted the seed to get an act together and gig... all regular like... at his place........ my response?

"HELL YES!"

I'm hoping to get this baby going, it's been a dream of mine since childhood.
Anyone wanna come play? I'm certainly seeking a drummer and bassist, and am up for just about anything else... I mean that. What? You play oboe? Cool. French horn? Could work! Theramin through a Big Muff? Heck, let's give it a whirl.
Seriously, try me.

Sheeeit... "only a guitarist"... That's a bit of an understatement, amigo.

Yeah, sure! What would especially rock is a multi-instrumentalist who switches between bass and whatever else, since I play bass, as well. However... I'm a 4-string fretted electric player, and would love to get a fretless electric or double-bass player in.

As it happens, I know a fretless electric player AND a double-bass player. The upright dude is also a multi-instrumentalist-- plays piano, vibes, guitar, and drums.

Hi Joe! Well, I had to put it down. Just wasn't happening, and then winter hit. I'm far more interested in original music, though, as well. I have been out playing about 3x week lately, tho, at local open mics, and much is blossoming as of that. We shall see! Thanks for the leads, BTW.

I'm still seeking another multi-instrumentalist, though, for a band I've started with a drummer named Toby Williams.
