What got you started in theatre?"
Thanks, Mark. I got started in theatre when I left a bad-situation recording studio job for a temporary job as a sound op at the Goodman Theater in Chicago (I had a friend who worked there and told me about the opening). I worked under a bunch of really fantastic designers and watched how they put their designs together. Eventually I got another studio job and didn't think much about doing theatre sound until three years later when a friend called and said he was going into tech for "A Christmas Carol" in four days and needed sound effects and could I please help. From that job and a couple of basic music edits for local dance companies I started getting more and more calls to design plays, to the point where I think I've done three dozen mainstage shows in the last 5 years. It's been quite a lot of fun, really.
That he is. I had a lot of fun writing for his program.
Things have been good. Eric tells me you've worked with Rom. Very cool.
Seeing that you've done quite a bit of children's materials.. can I ask how you first got started in that?

Thank you for your friendship and support. I am looking forward to networking and meeting new friends along our various audio journeys.
Sincerely,
Steve

I worked on Season Two with Eric.
How have things been going for you?
Atmosphere for the vocal. Stylus I think for all the perc.
Nice sounding drums on both. Were either of those stylus?
