Thanks for the response. I too had just switched from my dual G5. Sometimes I miss that machine : (

I'm glad to hear that DP is handling things well. If I can't get Logic 8 to work, maybe I would switch at some point.

Are you breaking your Play instances up into sections? (Strings, Brass, winds, etc...) That might be a nice organized way to do it.

Anyway...

What kind of performance have you been getting out of DP/PT8/Play and Kontakt 3?

The reason I ask is that I have the same computer,same ram, Play and Kontakt. But I run Logic 8 and I have been getting lots of cpu overload errors. I actually went back to Logic 7.2.3 and that behaves as expected.

Do you use DP or PT with your Play and Kontakt libraries?
